Singing club “waldeslust” rothenhof celebrates with foundation member

The "waldeslust" choral society celebrated his 100th birthday at the beginning of march. Anniversary with a nice service in the st.-marienkirche in einberg. Pastor margret rucker held a small funeral service. Afterwards choirmaster wolfgang friedrich on the piano and the longtime honorary choirmaster frank steiner on his violin opened the concert. The jubilant choir sang the song "throw your concern to the lord" pastor rucker the theme for the devotion. The choir from ebersdorf, the "pikolinis" participated, who enthused all present with lively gospel songs. The mannerchor gestungshausen enriched the devotion with their performances. Heartfelt musical pieces by the two soloists on piano and violin followed.

Afterwards, all invited guests went to the club’s pub, the birgitt rosenbauer inn in rothenhof, where the official part began with coffee and cake. The honorary president of the french sangerbund, peter jacobi, was only able to attend the devotion, however.

A member of the foundation

The association’s anniversary was an occasion for honors: inge faber was honored for 50 years of active singing and appointed honorary member. Heidemarie schillig was honored for 60 years of active singing, udo lesch for 25 years of membership in the club. Honorary members helene faber and horst lesch were each honored for 70 years of club membership. Honorary member helmut zimmermann was the only living member of the re-foundation to be honored for 70 years of service to the club. Choirmaster wolfgang friedrich, longtime honorary choirmaster frank steiner and honorary chairman dietmar faber were honored for their services to the club
