For half a century, marga rauh has been active in the catholic workers' movement. In the context of a celebration hour the chairman andreas endes reminded of the work of the jubilarian, who did not miss any event and meeting. The association had always been able to rely on her. Marga rauh was an indispensable part of the club life. Theater performances and carnival events would have been unthinkable without her. Since the field cross on the kienberg was dedicated in 1993, the jubilarian has been caring for this dignified place of prayer and a wonderful place to linger at all times of the year. Andreas endes said a hearty "vergelt's gott" for the connection and loyalty.

Association speaker manuela hannweber-mahringer expressed the appreciation of the KAB members for the jubilarian. 50 years of active membership is anything but a matter of course. The speaker congratulated in the name of the diozesanverband bamberg. KAB district chairman gunter romig joined in the congratulations and presented the certificate of thanks from the national executive committee. 

Bertelsmann has also raised its earnings forecast for 2021 thanks to a positive development of the TV and book businesses.

The media, services and education company announced on tuesday in gutersloh that it expects a consolidated profit of just under two billion euros for the full year. In spring, the forecast had been put at more than one billion euros.

The ebern western riders are ready for the first gross ebern western tournament, which will be held on saturday, 18. August, at the "spin'in X ranch" the event takes place in lutzelebern, gerustet. Pioneer in this respect is amelie heinzel. The young western rider from ebern was the overall winner in her class at a show organized by the bavarian western riders association at the green ground ranch in burgebrach. She was named all-around champion, excellent. The 18-year-old, who is part of the "spin'in X ranch" team in lutzelebern, achieved this success with her seven year old appaloosa gelding "hank bar magua".

Under the guidance of the riding instructors andrea schmelzer and birgit baumgart (judge at various riding associations and life hazard of kai wagner, the new leaseholder of the riding facility in lutzelebern), amelie heinzel and her horse prepared for the examinations for weeks and trained the various disciplines almost every day. Amelie heinzel got the third place in western-horsemanship and in showmanship. In western-pleasure she reached the second place and in reining she was the best, which meant in addition the best overall performance in her class. Seven-year-old chantal sucker, who is learning to ride at the ranch in ebern, competed in the driving class. She also won a medal.
