Gold for gloria leuschner and annika steinlein
Six junior teams of DJK kersbach/DJK eggolsheim started in weibenburg at the 2. Bavarian junior tournament 2018. They were supported by their coaches christina strauchmann, leonie muller and judge katharina preller as well as many parents who gave them a big thumbs up.
Medal places in weibenburg
Filiz and sibel specht (kersbach) won the second place in the women’s pairs, sophia kovacevic and sophie bogelein (kersbach) won the third place. Lilly berger, ella kraus and anna eberlein (eggolsheim) made the third place in the women’s groups.
While the "small" ones in bavaria maben, two formations of the performance class together with their coach angelika leuschner, judge silke michalk and choreographer natalia yildirim drove to saxony. They followed the invitation to the 16. International saxon cup of sport acrobatics to riesa. For three days the best german formations as well as groups from russia, belarus, ukraine and poland fought there. Among them successful participants in european and world championships. For selin and dilara yildirim (eggolsheim) it was a great experience. The two have only been competing in the schuler performance class for a year now. With a seventh place in the balanceubung of twelve participants in their category all are very satisfied.
Perfect weekend
For the successful ladies pair gloria leuschner and annika steinlein (kersbach/eggolsheim) in the masters class – winner of the bavarian championships this year and third place at the german championships – it was a weekend where simply everything worked out. A great atmosphere in the hall among the athletes and coaches, the friendly tips and the "toi, toi, toi" contributed to the fact that both of them performed their balance and tempo exercises convincingly and safely and achieved first place in each case. In the final it was place 2, despite very well gymnastics combination. Overall in the multiple competition, however, it was the gold medal in the women’s pairs of the master class.
Leuschner and steinlein are now nominated for the bavarian squad team. On 10. November, they will compete together with two formations from friedberg in the master class at the german team day in ebersbach (baden wurttemberg) and fight for the title of the best federal state.
