At the annual general meeting of the SC markt heiligenstadt, the post of chairman was filled again. Following the planned retirement of hartmut klein at the end of 2017, the members unanimously elected dieter humpfner, who had been acting as second chairman, as his successor. New deputy is stefan reichold.
After a one-year vacancy, reiner braungart has made himself available for the office of construction and maintenance. The fubball department also has a new head, stefan reichold.
He replaces erich dorsch, who has been acting temporarily for several years. The latter remains with the association as an honorary officer.
In previous meetings, the team around "das sport-echo" were with fabian gorg at the helm and matthias potzel won over for public relations work in addition marion baier and ralph sponsel support the work of peter bachmann in the economic enterprise.

42 shooters accepted the invitation of the shooters club meeder to the sixth service rifle shoot. This ordnance rifle shooting with open sights or telescopic sight enjoys great popularity among sport shooters. The rifles used were built before 1945 and are usually over a hundred years old.

There were different scores: individual scores in the "open class" with telescopic sight, individual scores in the "veteran" discipline and the veteran team rating (from both disciplines).

A thrilling decision was made in the election of the sportsman of the year. None of the nominees received more than a quarter of the 152 votes cast. It is not important to determine a winner, because the four nominated are already "winners" were, emphasized chairman volker eck. Sonja schwab finally received the most votes by a narrow margin for her commitment to the school teams of FC elfershausen and the organization of training sessions and games.

Honors

In 2013, the KSK frankenbrunn once again achieved many successes at the numerous shoots at club and BSB level. With sport pistol, KK rifle and GK pistol, the active players took part in the shooting events. Helmuth hauk finished 1st. Winner with the ordnance rifle at the district shooting; karl heinz ziegler won the district competition with the KK rifle and the free KK rifle. He finished second in the GK rifle in the disabled class. Ernst wald was also the winner with the free rifle at the district shootout. At the national shooting betty vogler-bernhardt secured the victory with the service pistol.
Betty vogler-bernhardt received a special honor in the BSB sports guardianship. She received the sportschutzen merit badge in silver.
